An Online Community in progress, plus jobs with cash 😍💰

A few updates on our votes last week, but first the important piece 😉 💰

The website is now updated with a mouth watering (+$$ increasing) 90 jobs. See all the jobs here on the excel sheet.

You asked, we listened. Our number 1 focus is to update the website based on the votes which are below.

These were a few of the comments we got too which are very helpful to help us reaffirm what’s important to you.

NEXT UPDATE - CAREER ALIGNMENT WHEEL

While TF is figuring out how to get 1 million jobs a week on an excel for you, I’ve been doing this.

This is the draft results of a questionnaire we’ve created. It’s still early stages but a lot of these questions/sections are what people tend to care about with their next job. The idea is you take the free questionnaire, and it gives you some indication of what jobs may be suitable based on your answers.

If you’re interested in helping in the design process of this and giving us feedback, we currently have 12 people signed up (For the 12, I emailed you last week) and we’re looking for 8 more to work with us for feedback.

FINAL UPDATE - THE BEGINNING OF AN ONLINE COMMUNITY

This one nearly killed me. Audit list to online community to audit list. A merry-go-round. But here’s the first draft. It will be a private community that we’ll moderate ourselves. I’m sure that will be easy 🤥

If you have any ideas of sections we need to include, fire them back on email to me. Here are the current sections plus the thinking:

Introduce yourself: I’ll probably bin this. I was watching a US based youtube channel to build it and they love going on and on about themselves. I think Irish people would run away.

Discussions: This is the one. Essentially a version of reddit for just us. Ask questions & get unbiased advice.

Events: Live webinars like mentoring but also actually useful CPD in the future like excel training that is relevant to our jobs.

Alumni Spotlight: In my mind right now, this is a “sharing experience” place but in a different way to discussions. If you see someone a few years ahead of you and think their job is cool, you could read it here and message them. Key details like how much your first job paid you, what happened in the process, what would you do differently.

Job listings: Community based hiring? Don’t know. Recruiters will be all over us and this forum so please keep it secret. You can tell your friends but please don’t have Barden emailing us.

Now!! Have to get back to building it. Like I said, if you want to be involved in the initial feedback phase, reply to this email. We’re only looking for 8 more and 100+ tend to open this email in the first hour 😂
