Now let’s get straight into it.
🤑💰2 top (top) PQE 0ish jobs this week
Application Closing Date: 8th October (12 days)
3 points to address here. Firstly, this job says 1 year PQE but it doesn’t mean it. If you left your contract, were working somewhere for 1 year and interviewed for this role they would say you’re a bad egg for ditching a new job within a year. What it really means is “we need an excuse to tell people if we don’t like them but we’d take someone good with no experience if we liked them”.
Secondly, they say €70-80k. The reason it’s so high is you have to be compensated for the lack of “certainty” in your contract. If you were to sign a permanent contract it would be common for your base to decrease but you’d get annual leave, health insurance and sick pay type perks which wouldn’t necessarily be included in 6 month contracts.
Finally, if you were interviewing for this job or a similar one without the required experience, you would be better off acknowledging your lack of experience and highlighting some of your other strengths. For example “I know I may be missing 1 year of experience, but I am very keen to know what kind of projects you are all working on and whether I have experience working on something similar in my past”. Showing an eagerness and interest in your job puts you in the top 5% of people. Most just sit there like the below and try to exist.
Application Closing Date: 11th October (15 days)
If you hate audit, run away now. For those of you who don’t, this could be interesting. It’s well paid, the perks are very strong: (Bonus, pension, healthcare, dental, gym, subsidised canteen, hybrid working) and the job is what you’d know. It would be a big learning curve but after that it’s just repeat.
The reason I’ve included this is because our contracts can be overwhelming with too many clients, deadlines and moving parts. This spec references a better work life balance and is very well remunerated if audit life is one you’d like to choose.
