Happy Thursday, I’m finishing up work before I head on holidays here so we’ve no time for banter! Anyone know what suitcases I should buy to avoid the annual panic? Anyway, Let’s get straight into the jobs situation.

South Dublin means access to Happy Out Cafe for coffee on your breaks 😋 But more importantly, this is a lovely normal stepping stone job. There are typically two streams when people leave. They want monthly GL accounting or to go down the analysis and forecasting route (Think FP&A). This job is the latter. Think excel, models and dashboards. The future is undoubtably in power BI, and this is a lovely one for someone interested in that.

I picked this job because it was written by someone clued in. They provide bullet points of your role, and when you see something as comprehensive as this you can tell this manager will be good to work for. To me, it doesn’t make sense that the company or manager aren’t included in the job advertisement. In my view, a lot of people care more or the same amount equally about who they’re going to work for than where. I wonder in the future will hiring managers have to include a profile with it.
